October 7 Massacre: The Day the World Changed Forever

Three years since the October 7 Massacre and the world is a very different place today.

The victim became the villain. The villain became the victim. Well, that happened in a matter of days. In the aftermath of one of the most horrific atrocities in the 21st century, it is hard to comprehend how the very basic values we all once shared across the civilised world, now “depend on the context”. In a divided world, the only thing that unites people around the globe today is Jew Hatred. Sounds familiar? it should be, because history is repeated all over again in front of our very own eyes, as if humanity did not learn anything from World Wars, Nazism, the Holocaust, Radical Islam, Terrorism and millions of people suffering.

What Happened on That Horrific Day

On October 7, 2023 – the Black Saturday – Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups launched a large-scale invasion from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel. Approximately 6,000 militants crossed the border and attacked more than 20 Israeli communities along the Gaza envelope and the Nova Music Festival which took place near Kibbutz Re’im about 5 km from the Gaza border.

The human toll on the Israeli side was devastating as the Palestinians deliberately targeted civilians. More than 1,200 people were murdered in Israel, including at least 828 civilians – those killed included children, elderly people, women and foreign nationals.

In the peaceful villages next to the border, Palestinian terrorists went from house to house, broke in, killed whoever they saw, tortured and burnt whole families alive, and committed genocidal acts against women and children.

In the Nova music festival thousands of young Israelis and international visitors had gathered to dance and celebrate life. 364 of them were slaughtered, many young women were raped.

People were shot at close range, some were killed while hiding in safe rooms or bomb shelters, others were pursued as they attempted to escape the festival.

The Israeli military was caught completely off guard, in some cases it took up to 14 agonising hours for the IDF forces to arrive and secure many of the hardest-hit border communities. This allowed the Gazans to do whatever they want for several hours – and what Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Gazan civilians did was to commit a massacre and murder as many Israelis as they possibly could.

251 people were abducted and taken hostage into Gaza from peaceful communities, military bases and the Nova music festival. The hostages taken on October 7 ranged from a nine-month-old baby to an 86-year-old man. Babies, children, teenagers, young adults, parents and grandparents were dragged from their homes, communities and a music festival and taken into Gaza. Of the 251 people abducted that day, 39 were children.

There were documented accounts of burning whole families, mutilation of bodies and sexual violence across many of the villages. Some of the attackers were armed with machetes and large knives, alongside assault rifles, grenades and explosives. There is credible evidence that some victims were decapitated, mutilated and burnt.

Sheer evil. Barbaric attack. Worse than ISIS. And more so, worse than Nazi Germany. The Nazis, who committed a genocide and murdered 6 millions Jews plus many others, tried to hide their crimes against humanity. But Hamas broadcasted their actions live on social media, as part of their terror strategy. It was a well planned attack in which the perpetrators were given very specific instructions where to go, how to slaughter, and how to leave evidence behind them in order to maximise the element of terrorising the people of Israel.

Approximately 15,000 people were injured, and around 150,000 residents of southern Israel were displaced from their homes in the aftermath.

October 7 was the single deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust.

Israel was in complete shock. The state of Israel was, by definition, a place where Jews would not be slaughtered ever again, after decades of pogroms, massacres and genocide.

You would expect the world to react in total shock as well.

How the World Reacted Initially

After the attack, while Israeli authorities were still counting the dead and collecting bodies – the international community stood by Israel for a few days.

While family members were still looking for their loved ones, not knowing if they were murdered or kidnapped into Gaza, while horrific images and videos still floated in the media and social networks mostly published by the Hamas perpetrators themselves, glorifying the killing of innocent Israelis who lived in peace along the border with Gaza, images of raped women with blood on their pants taken into Gaza, videos of young men and women running away from the Nova festival site while being shot by terrorist, images of burnt cars, homes and whole villages. Images of hostages arriving into Gaza while the Palestinian crowed is cheering God is Great – Allahu Akbar – and attempting to lynch them for the crime of being a Jew, or much worse – for being an Israeli.

We expected the world to finally understand what is the Palestinian ethos. Such a barbaric attack against human beings, burning whole families in their own homes, murdering young children and babies in their own beds, brutally raping and killing young women, slaughtering 1200 people and kidnapping 251 innocents.

We expected the people of the world to clearly distinguish between good and evil, right and wrong. Between a terrorist and a defenceless baby, between a murderer and an innocent child, between a rapist and an Israeli young women. Which side are you on? We expected the obvious from the people of the world, but they did the complete opposite.

You would expect the world to reject any form of violence, let alone such form of barbaric nature against women and children that the world hasn’t seen since the middle ages. Something that is a complete opposite to civility, humanity and common sense.

You would expect the world to stand by Israel against terrorism, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Radical Islam and anyone who supports them.

You would expect people around the world to say “no more” to Palestinian victimhood and terrorism.

You would expect the world to force them to take responsibility and agency towards their wrongdoing.

You would expect the world to dismantle Hamas and destroy it like they did with ISIS, to force the Palestinian Authority – who did not immediately issue an unequivocal condemnation of the Hamas-led October 7 attack – to denounce violence and stand by Israel as a real partner for Peace.

You would expect the world to unite forces and take down all terror organisations and terror-funding countries in the Middle East like Iran and Hezbollah.

Indeed, in the first 24 hours world leaders condemned the attack, landmarks around the world were lit in Blue and White colours in solidarity with Israel, and the world was offering a comforting hand to a nation and its people who mourned its dead.

But that only lasted for 24 hours, barely.

And Then Everything Shifted

Way before the inevitable response by Israel was looming, the winds had already shifted.

The world has often found it easier to sympathise with the Jew who is suffering than with the Jew who refuses to remain a victim. A dead Jew evokes grief. A Jew lying helpless and covered in blood evokes sympathy. But what happens when that Jew stands up, fights back, and says, “Never again”? What happens when Jews refuse to be slaughtered quietly, refuse to surrender, and build a country capable of defending itself? Is that part of what makes Israel so deeply uncomfortable for some people? Does that help explain why the Jewish state is judged by standards so rarely applied to anyone else?

Hours into the attack, people were already marching in big cities all around the world, celebrating the massacre of the Jews. People all over the world were chanting Free Palestine and cheering Hamas for what they have done. Resistance. Slaughter the Jews. The crowd was cheering on main plazas and university campuses across USA, Canada, UK, Europe and Australia – where chanting “Gas the Jews” on the stairs of the Opera House while it was lit in the colours of the Israeli flag, did not seem to bother the police officers who stood by and did nothing.

And these demonstrations never stopped since then, all over the world, spreading hatred and lies about Israel and the Jewish people, hiding behind so-called “Freedom of Speech” and weak governments who mostly did nothing to stop the hatred on the streets.

Back then not many people realised what was already going on behind the scenes – The Information War – shifted gears immediately when the details of the October 7 surprise attack unfolded. The war that took place on social media, university campuses, news outlets – led by Qatar and its Al Jazeera news agency – in full mode to shape an anti-Israel narrative and shape human minds in the west. Not many understand to this day how this is all planned by the agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood to infiltrate the West. Using the Free Palestine cause is just an easy way to get people on board.

And the result is a massive spike in Antisemitism.

The Antisemitic Genie is out of the Bottle again

Throughout history, various societies, religious institutions, and political regimes have blamed Jewish people for religious, economic, social, and political crises, leading to widespread persecution and antisemitism. When weak leaders and governments look for ways to disguise their own failures, they look for a common enemy – someone to blame for everything – the economic situation, health crisis, the weather, you name it. And so, the easiest target is to Blame the Jews.

Anti-Jewish Propaganda was used by the Nazis for many years before they launched their war on Europe, Anti-Zionist propaganda was used by the Soviets during the Cold War against the West. And today, under our noses, the same propaganda is in full swing, led by hostile countries like Qatar, Iran, Türkiye, Russia and China. While they blame the Jews for “controlling the media“, they in fact control the narrative by influencing main TV News channels – who publish unverified and biased news, Tik Tok which is poisoning young people’s minds, American universities heavily influenced by Woke ideology, political leaders on the progressive left, and corrupt UN entities.

The results are seen on our streets. Antisemitic incidents surged dramatically across Western countries following the October 7 attacks, from Germany to France, United Kingdom, US, Canada and Australia, according to data compiled by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

Jewish communities around the world are under constant threat. People are being murdered in cold blood. Perpetrators attack their victims while chanting “Free Palestine“. Terrorists justify their actions saying “I did it for Gaza“.

The Radical Left: Anti-West, Suicidal Empathy leading to civilizational collapse

It’s hard to grasp how the political progressive left, influenced by the WOKE had fully aligned with the likes of Hamas, Hizballah, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Taliban and any other anti-West entity.

The Woke movement refers to a broad social and political awareness of systemic injustices, racial discrimination, and social inequality. In recent years, the concept broadened from racial awareness to encompass gender, LGBTQ+ rights, environmentalism, and other intersectional social issues.

Today, Socialists, Marxists and social justice activists have become Pro-Palestinians and stand shoulder to shoulder with Hamas – a designated terrorist organisation in its entirety by many Western governments. They are supporting the same Hamas who committed the October 7 massacre, who slaughtered Israeli babies and children, tortured men, raped women and girls, burned whole families, and promised to commit more massacres until they finish the job – a complete annihilation of all the Jews and Israelis. Hitler would be proud.

Today, Western social activists are fighting Colonialism and White Supremacists, promising to “Globalise the Intifada“, thinking they are calling to spread international resistance and anti-colonial solidarity against state policies, not realising what “Intifada” actually means – a violent uprising to target Israelis and Jewish institutions globally.

They want to “Free Palestine From the River to the Sea“, claiming it is a call for human rights, equality, and freedom for Palestinians who wish to create a secular democratic state with equal rights for all, as if the the idea of a free Palestine is a Utopia, a perfect world without the Jews. But in fact this phrase promotes the erasure and total destruction of the State of Israel and the eradication of its 10 million people.

They embrace the concept of “Resistance by any means necessary“, arguing that armed struggle is a legitimate response under international law to military occupation. It’s a scary realisation that these groups use this language explicitly to justify violence, mutilation, rape and terrorism against innocent civilians – which explains why so many around the world celebrated the October 7 massacre.

But wait, I have to ask a question here: How would you feel if someone broke into your home, murdered your entire family, raped your wife, your sister, your daughter, beheaded your children, your babies – and then argue that this is Resistance – by any means necessary. Would you be OK with it? Would it depend on the context? On the colour of your skin? Your race or your religion? Don’t you claim to be humanitarian and anti-racist? Aren’t we all just human beings who deserve to be respected no matter what? “Respect by any means necessary”.

Three Years On – How Does Life Look Like for Jews Around the World

How did we get to a point where young people all over the world are radicalised to such a degree that they chant Free Palestine in determination, without understanding the facts on the ground? What does a Free Palestine actually represent to them? A symbol of Social Justice and Equality?

How can people live with so much hatred towards Jews and Israelis today, swallowing the bait of Antisemitism all over again, around 80 years since the Holocaust, but only a few years after they have stood side by side with Black people against Racism with the Black Lives Matter movement, or stood alongside All Women in the #MeToo movement, but fail to stand with Israeli women when they are sexually assaulted?

How can people stand Against rather than stand For. Doesn’t it bother you that nobody is talking about Peace in the Middle East anymore? That the compromise of the Two State Solution is a thing of the past?

Three years after the atrocities of October 7 and what people now chant is “There is only one solution, Intifada Revolution”. They are calling for a One-State Solution called Palestine to replace the State of Israel, which is exactly what is written in the Hamas charter, the destruction of the Jewish state and its people.

Is this the outcome of October 7 – that instead of fighting the bad guys, the Jihadists, the radical Islamists, the haters – the world just joined them? Is this your form of World Peace and Social Justice?

Imagine a world where someone is killing someone else and gets away with it. Imagine a world where someone is spreading lies and hate against a particular group of people, and gets many likes and followers. Imagine a world where Radical Islam is taking over the West and you don’t even realise it is happening under your nose. Actually, you don’t need to imagine such a world. Just open your eyes, it’s already here.

The world feels like a very bad place right now – people are unable to look at sheer evil straight in the eye and stand against it, people are attracted to hating someone else just for the sake of hate.

Every man and his dog now seeks to take advantage of this wave for their own benefit. “Free Palestine” has become a simple way to gain popularity.

Politicians stand against Israel and the Jews to get votes. Musicians and Hollywood movie stars chat Death to the IDF to get fans and sell tickets. Young people on social media fear social boycott and hit Like and Share to messages of Hate to get followers.

Rest in Peace any critical thinking, dignity, humanity and using your own brain – if you ever had one.

Hatred is so cheap and available to anyone for Free.

We can’t solve stupidity. It was always part of human kind.

But how can we move forward?

Do we wait for the world to change? Do we wait for the radicals to moderate? Or do we give up hope?

Never Again is Now

History shows that throughout the Middle Ages and Modern Times, the Jews were always hated, prosecuted, chased, murdered, sent to gas chambers, subjected to blood libel and blamed for all the wrongdoing around the world.

But unlike those past days, today Jews around the world must stand tall, confident and proud – and fight back, with facts. Jews will not be wearing a yellow Star of David on their shirt, singled out as the filthy lowest ranked inhuman creatures. Jews are no different to Muslims, Christians, African Americans, White, Brown, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Ukrainian etc. – we are all the same – human beings. And we should all be treated equally. Period. That is Social Justice.

The new generation of Jews – the Israelis – had risen from the brink and fought back the enemies who wish to destroy them. In the face of atrocity and existential threat, one have no choice but to rise to the occasion and protect their family.

Israelis and Jews vowed to Never Again be led to extermination. This is exactly why the State of Israel exists – so Jews can defend themselves when others do not. Now that the world had changed so much, it is crucial for young people to understand that standing with Israel is the only way to find a real solution in the Middle East. The alternative is becoming a racist towards Jews, the alternative is calling for the destruction of a living breathing State of Israel, the alternative is participating in a second Genocide against the Jews, the alternative is having blood on your hands.

To our enemies, I feel pity for you, because you are motivated by radicalisation, hate and murder. I cannot help you if you cannot help yourself. You are bound for continuous disappointment and will dedicate your life to a cause never to be achieved.

To their followers, I encourage you to open your mind, listen, read a history book, research the facts and broaden your understanding of the world beyond 10 second videos on Tik Tok. Misinformation is our common enemy. Do not let them use you, reclaim your own mind, be a critical thinker and have a proper debate about right vs wrong. Don’t be a follower, be a leader.

To my fellow Israelis and Jews, we stand with you today and forever.

IN MEMORY OF THE LOST SOULS on October 7.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET AND NEVER FORGIVE THOSE WHO STOOD AGAINST US IN OUR DARKEST HOURS.

AM ISRAEL CHAI.
