I’m rubbing my eyes, tilting my head from side to side, pinching my cheeks right and left. Is this really happening? It’s one of those things you plan in your head for a long time, and when the time comes you just cannot believe it’s actually happening. Guilt is a terrible thing. When you live with it day in and day out it’s not really helping to get you going through the days. It’s holding you back from feeling happy about your life and the choices you have made. Why am I feeling this way? And so, I’m kicking myself for not being there for them, living close to them.
